Presentation
A clear pale pink liquid for oral administration containing 0.8 ml/ml Propylene Glycol BP.
Uses
As an aid in the treatment of acetonaemia in cattle, and pregnancy toxaemia in sheep.
Dosage and Administration
Ketol may be administered in the drinking water, as a drench or on the feed.
Species | Dosage |
Cattle | First day 225 ml (8 fl oz) morning and evening. Next three days 115 ml (4 fl oz) morning and evening. |
Sheep | 115 ml (4 fl oz) daily for several days. |
Contra-indications, warnings etc.
For oral administration only.
Do not use in cases of known hypersensitivity to the active ingredient.
Withdrawal period
Zero days.
For animal treatment only. Keep out of reach of children.
Pharmaceutical Precautions
Do not store above 25°C. Protect from light.
