Lungworm, or husk, is something to be mindful of as cattle go out to pasture, but don't overlook your adult animals and only check first season grazers.  Recent seasons show that around three quarters of cases occur in second season or older animals.  Certainly the numbers of adult milking animals being seen with lungworm infestations is increasing.  Although death of an animal is rare, a fall in milk yield is always seen and there can also be an effect on the anmal's fertility.
