Replacement ewe vaccination made easy with new multi-pack

Sheep farmers buying in replacements this season can take advantage of Intervet’s new 100-ewe vaccination pack. The pack contains 4x100ml of the company’s 7-in-1 clostridial and pasteurella vaccine (Heptavac-P Plus^®) plus a newly designed vaccinator gun.

There is sufficient vaccine in the pack to give 100 replacement ewes two doses each. This will provide the immunity they require to prevent costly losses from pasteurella and clostridial diseases. The free vaccinator gun delivers accurate 2ml doses, conveniently and with the minimum of effort.

The importance of vaccinating all replacement sheep cannot be over emphasised, since they represent the future earning potential of the flock. With an outbreak of respiratory disease typically costing £8.00* for every animal in the flock, the cost benefit of a vaccine only costing around 80p per ewe is clear.

The new packs are available from August onwards from your usual supplier.
